Submission Guidelines

Show Listings:

Once a month Visual Codec compiles and publishes visual arts show listings for Portland OR, Seattle WA, and Vancouver BC. We do not accept show submissions outside these three cities at this time. Show listings are free to submit, but are not guaranteed to be published. Show submissions should be sent at least one week prior to the end of the month before the show will take place. To submit a show, email us via the address that corresponds with the city in which the show will appear.

Event Listings:

Once a month Visual Codec publishes a calendar of visual arts events taking place in Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia. Event listings are $10 per listing per month or $100 per year for unlimited listings specific to a single venue, artist, festival, or curator.* Event submissions should be sent at least one week prior to the end of the month before the event will take place. To submit an event, email us at reserve@visualcodec.com.

Advertising Space:

Visual Codec reserves a portion of its online real estate for advertising. Our current cost for online ad space ranges from $25 to $75 per month.* Visual Codec can also create your online ad for an additional fee of $75.* Advertising reservations should be made at least two weeks prior to the end of the month before the ad will run. To reserve online advertising space, email us at reserve@visualcodec.com.
