Information We Collect
Like most internet properties, the Visual Codec website automatically tracks certain general information about our visitors to help us continually improve our publication. We collect each visitor's IP address (a number automatically assigned to the computer whenever you surf the web) and use that number to monitor customer traffic patterns, general site usage, as well as the popularity of individual content pages.
On occasion our website may request personal information when using certain features, including but not limited to: signing up for our email list, completing surveys, submitting "quotables", and submitting visual arts show information. Participation is these areas of the website is entirely voluntary and the features in question will explain how the content is to be used. Visual Codec will never sell, trade, rent or release our e-mail lists to any interested third parties. Our email lists exist exclusively for use in conjunction with the Visual Codec publication and its activities. We manage our email and website hosting via Pair Networks.
